SprinklerWorks is a locally owned and operated company founded in 2002 by David Johnson.
David has built his business over two decades with a commitment to true customer service, not just promises. When he started, this was unusual in the irrigation business. SprinklerWorks raised and has maintained high standards ever since.
Entering as a young man with a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture and a minor in Landscape Architecture, David Johnson has been in the landscape and irrigation business for over 40 years. With his extensive knowledge of plants and their needs, he leads a team that approaches irrigation from a different perspective than a contractor with a background in irrigation only.
Water Conservation is Important to Us
Water conservation and the environment are very important to David and this philosophy is reflected throughout SprinklerWorks. As the author of numerous articles on water conservation, published globally, and as a participant on the advisory board to help rewrite Sarasota County’s Water Efficient Landscape Regulation, David’s commitment to his “craft” is clear.

5 star service calls are far and few between. These guys were great. Technician came out to repair a big leak and the work was done within a few hours of my initial call. When I first called they walked me through shutting down the water till they arrived so I didn’t continue to flood the neighborhood:-) The tech found and quickly repaired another small leak pooling up from underground after fixing the major problem. This inspection was part of the basic price. Once finished they put a little card in the box so I could easily understand the zones and irrigation system. Could not have gone better!
I recently had extensive sprinkler system work completed by Sprinkler Works. Their office staff and field technicians were professional and had a thorough knowledge of my system repair request.

Our Community Affiliations
SprinklerWorks proudly supports the following not-for-profit organizations. This is our way of saying thank you and of giving back to the community that supports us.
SprinklerWorks has taken care of the irrigation system for all six Tampa Bay Ronald McDonald House facilities since 2005 at no charge. This includes monthly inspections and repairs to all systems, emergency repairs as needed, conversion to reclaimed water usage and system improvements. Our goal is to ensure that families using these facilities have a beautiful place to call home during their time of need.
Our support for this organization shows through the Hospice license plates that all of our service vehicles display with their motto “Every Day is a Gift”. SprinklerWorks continually offers irrigation system maintenance and repairs at no charge to several local Hospice organizations.
Our monetary support for this organization helps to make dreams come true for this group of special needs children. If you want to see a child smile and have fun I suggest that you attend one of their baseball games. You will never forget it!
Our annual donations to this organization allow 15 groups of children each year to attend a Bradenton Marauders game. At the game they get to take the field when the Marauders do, they receive snacks and refreshments and a souvenir cap.
